Goulburn's former Town Hall, in Goulburn's main street Auburn St, is now a community centre, the McDermott Centre.

It is named after one of Goulburn's former Mayors, Ernie McDermott, and is a venue for special interest groups, clubs and organisations.

It is available for:

  • Meetings
  • Workshops
  • Seminars
  • Activities
  • Seating for up to 35 people
  • Tea/Coffee facilities available
  • Audio, Visual Equipment and White Board available on request
  • Reasonable rates community and commercial groups

People of all ages are welcome to attend our community groups.

For a current program phone 4823 4478 or call into the Centre, Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 5 pm. Our current program includes:

  • Walking for Pleasure
  • Senior Activity Club
  • Craft Groups
  • Card Group
  • Bingo Afternoon

If you would like to run your Community Activity Group at the McDermott Centre come in and see us. Facilities are available at a minimal charge per person.

The Goulburn Senior Activities Club Inc meets in the Centre, Tuesday 11 am - 3 pm & Friday 1 pm - 3 pm.
