Noxious Weeds

Noxious Weeds are found throughout the Goulburn Mulwaree local government area. Weeds declared noxious under the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act 1993 require control.
Noxious weeds are introduced plants that have an economic effect on agriculture and the environment. These weeds may be noxious in respect of the whole of NSW or part of the State.
Council is responsible for controlling noxious weeds along roadsides, council owned land, public authority land and crown land on behalf of the State Government. The Council is also responsible for inspections of all private property for noxious weed infestations and the giving of directions and advice to landholders or ocupiers to ensure an adequate control program is maintained.
