Goulburn Mulwaree Council has launched a new phone hotline in a bid to get residents to report outbreaks of serrated tussock.

The phone hotline, along with a new weeds information display in Council’s Civic Centre foyer, were launched at last night’s Rural Urban night, hosted by the Rotary Club of Goulburn. Some 100 people attended the information night held to raise public awareness of serrated tussock and other noxious weeds.

Serrated tussock is a highly invasive weed that will invade pastures, native grasslands and threatens both agricultural production and native ecological systems.
